Our mission is to see that Utah’s pet poulation is fed.  Many people who can no longer keep

their homes due to foreclosures, lack of pet-favoring landlords, etc. have had to let their

beloved pets go. We collect & donate food to pet owners via food pantries, Catholic

Community Services & other civic organizations along the Wasatch Front.  We don't want to

see people having to worry about putting both food on the table and food in the bowl.

We have found instances where elderly people who are just getting by themselves, feeding

their pets human food while they go without.  Nutritionally, nobody wins. If you are in need of

food, either dog or cat, please call 801.347.3345, or you can go to Catholic Community

Services 245 Rio Grande 801 359.4142 and ask for Barbara or Audra.

One of our favorite things is taking food to many of the adult HUD housing units for the

elderly and disabled.  Under HUD rules, people who qualify to live in these units, are

encouraged to have a pet because of the life-enhancing qualities that having an animal

produces.
