The South Salt Lake Animal Shelter needs your help! The address is 2274 South 600 East We have been in front of the Sugarhouse Petco collection cannned cat & kitten food throughout this past week. Both Fox 13 & KUTV covered the story and have links to our site where you can make monetary donations toward this endeavor. We will be there on Saturday monring from 10:00AM until . Food is just the tip of the iceberg of what they need at the shleter. -Simply click on Donate Now on the Main page- *They need someone with with HVAC skill to donate a few hours time to fix their air
conditioning/swamp coolers.
*They need VOLUNTEERS! They currently are only able to open Tues-Fri from 1-5. This makes it difficult for people to get to the shelter and adopet the animals in the shelter.
*Also, and most importantly, the South Salt Lake City's Animal Shelter is difficult to find. It is located next to the light green water tank that you can see on the south side of the freeway just past the spagetti bowl.
