Last year, we raised nearly 10,000 pounds of pet food which started off with a pallet of food donated by Associated Foods. The economy has caused such an increase in animals being taken, or even dropped off in the middle of the night, at shelters.

SALT LAKE CITY - A litter of kittens was found inside a Kearns dumpster about 10 days ago and the Animal Advocacy Alliance of Utah wants to know who put them there. Anne Davis, Executive Director of the Animal Advocacy Alliance of Utah says one of their board members heard the four newborn kittens crying and rescued them. The woman has spent the past 10 days nursing them back to health while paying for all their vet bills. 		974
